The listed coordinates are an EarthCache site, a location that people can visit to learn about a unique geoscience feature of our Earth. You may log a find by visiting the location and emailing methe correct answers to the questions below. Do not post answers in your log.***

 

Other Important Information:

  • This indoor EarthCache is located at the Harrison County Coal Museum. The museum itself is located on the lower level of the Puskarich Public Library.

  • The listed coordinates are for the back entrance of the library and easiest access to the Coal Museum. If this door is locked, simply walk around the front to the main entrance and take the stairs or elevator to the lower level.

  • Permission for this EarthCache was generously granted by Sandi Thompson, Director.

  • This Harrison County Coal Museum is free to enter, but only available during normal business hours for the library (closed on Sundays and holidays). Museum hours are as follows:

Wednesday 9:00 AM - 8:00 PM
Thursday 9:00 AM - 8:00 PM
Friday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
